information translation of an extract from the Kwok
Man San Man, Canton, of 3rd May, 1927, on the subject
of the retrocession of Kwong Chow Wan.

A copy has been supplied to the French
At a mass meeting in Canton on the 7th May a resolution was passed demanding restoration by
France of Kwong Chow Wan. Those present at the meeting were government officials, Party and military leaders, and representatives of over a hundred public organisations and schools, in addition to a big gathering of all sections of the people, peasants and labourers, merchants, students,
and professors, police and soldiers, totalling about
20,000.
